Community Connections
"The Word of God became flesh and blood and moved into the neighborhood."                            - John 1:14 (the Message)
We believe that God calls us to be an active part of our community, reaching out in the most practical ways we can find.  We work hard to be active and involved...

Our Neighborhood Watch meets in our Old A&M store-front building the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
Our church is very active at Glenwood Elementary, the school that serves our neighborhood.  Mrs. Debbie teaches there, and we are often asked to assist with various activites and special events at Glenwood.  From listening to children read on Book-&-Bag lunch days, to serving sno-cones on hot summer afternoons (it's a year-round school), to providing a place for faculty events, we love showing God's love to students and staff!  Click on the picture for more info about Glenwood Elementary.
