We have been so very blessed over the last 10+ years by mission teams answering the call to "come over hereand help us." We could not possibly keep the schedule that we do, provide the ministries that we provide, or reach the people that we have been called to reach without the help of literally hundreds of volunteers each year. If you are answering that call through a mission trip, this page is for you. We hope that this will give you lots of helpful information for planning your trip to the west side.

Where will we stay?
Some of our mission teams stay right in our building, sleeping on the floor and preparing all their own meals. Others stay at area hotels, where we have made some special arrangements for folks working with us. Click on the photos below to check out our most common housing options.
This Ramada is a 5 -7 minute drive from us. They have a special rate for our teams. There is an indoor pool and a full breakfast buffet. If you stay with them, you would still have full access to our kitchen, as long as we do not have another team staying in our building.
This Sleep Inn is about a 7 - 10 minute drive from us. They have a special rate for West Charleston Baptist Church. There is a continental breakfast. If you stay with them, you would still have full access to our kitchen, as long as we do not have another team staying in our building.

What will we do?
Whatever gifts and talents God has given you can be used to reach our community for Christ. Some of our teams come to work with a specific event or project, such as a construction need or a Vacation Bible School, and some teams do a wide variety of things while they are here.
